Dr Martin Le Tissier is a Senior Research Fellow at the MaREI Centre, ERI, University College Cork. Martin’s work has a strong focus on education and professional training with institutional development to develop capacity building and responses to adaptation to climate change, coastal development, management and governance.
The MaREI Centre is headquartered in the ERI, UCC and comprises 13 Third Level Institutes from across Ireland, it combines the expertise of a wide range of research groups and industry partners, with the shared mission of solving the main scientific, technical and socio-economic challenges across the climate, energy and marine spaces.
Our action for climate change
To develop pathways to support climate mitigation and adaptation, provide the necessary underlying climate science required to support climate mitigation and adaptation measures and to provide and support climate education in order to grow and develop the role of society in positive climate action.
